Dear Friends,

We pray you are safe and well.

Today is the Feastday of St. Joseph, Husband of Mary, Father of Jesus. Joseph has always inspired me because he is such a good listener--he listens so intently to God that he even hears God speaking to him in his sleep. The Gospel of Matthew portrays four times when Joseph hears God speaking to him in his dreams. What a goal for our own spiritual lives: to listen intently to God addressing us as Beloved and then calling us to action.

Dear Friends,

Top of the morning to you! We pray you are safe and well.

Today's Meditation was sent to us by Amy Florian. It is the singing of "The Deer's Cry: I Arise" by liturgical singer Terry Donohoo. It lets St. Patrick's Day echo with this song that is sometimes called The Prayer or The Breastplate of St. Patrick.

Dear Friends,

Top of the morning to you!  We pray you are safe and well.

Today's Meditation gives us glimpses of St. Patrick's Spirituality and Celtic Spirituality. Two of our heroes in this regard are John O'Donohue and John Philip Newell. I have been chewing on John O'Donohue saying "Beauty is another name of God" and John Philip Newell's chant "Whichever way you turn, there is the face of God."

Dear Friends,

We pray you are safe and well.

Today's Meditation is entitled "Birthdays and Rainbows" by Rev. Donna Schaper--what a way to celebrate your birthday.

Dear Friends,

We pray you are safe and well.

Today's Meditation is The Rite of Communal Reconciliation that we used with our Spirit of Life Community yesterday. The community asked that we design such a rite once during Advent and once during Lent. We wanted to share it with you. Blessings on your reflection as you meditate with it.
