Dear Friends,

We hope that you are safe and well.

Today's Meditation is a song "How Can I Keep from Singing."

We invite you to join us as we commit ourselves to working tirelessly to end systemic and structural racism in our society, in the church, in healthcare, in the workplace--wherever it shows up so that everyone may come to have more abundant life. May this meditation nourish our contemplative-active hearts and sustain all of us in action.

Dear Friends,

We hope that you are safe and well.

Today's Meditation is a reflection by Carrie Newcomer on "How We Shift the Balance." Often we wonder what we can do to make a difference. She suggests some little every day things that create a different spirit in our encounters with each other.

Today's Meditation lifts up for our inspiration the life and words of Steve Biko, who gave his life raising the consciousness of blacks and whites together enroute to building a more inclusive, diverse society where are valued, even cherished. It continues to be our path to building the Beloved Community.

In the spirit of our philosophy of co-creating community and our awareness that the Spirit speaks through each of us, we invite you to share your meditations with us as well. We truly believe that it is God's economy of abundance: when we share our blessings, our thoughts, our feelings, we are all made richer.

Dear Friends,

We hope that you are safe and well.

Today's meditation features poet Lois Roma-Deeley relishing moments of oneness with nature. These moments refresh our spirits for the rest of the day. These moments also remind us that we are part of the great circle of life, stretching back to the past and forward to the future. WOW.

Dear Friends,

We hope that you are safe and well.

On this day, the Church celebrates the Birth of Mary, the Mother of Jesus. You may remember that I belonged to a religious community, The Society of Mary. In fact I took my vows in the community on this day in 1965. Today's meditation celebrates the Song of Mary, the Magnificat, a song of joy and gratitude celebrating her recognition that she (like each of us) is God's Beloved. This spirit has profoundly shaped my spirituality and this song passes it on to you.
