Dear Friends
We pray you are safe and well. In the spirit of our philosophy of co-creating community and our awareness that the Spirit speaks through each of us, we invite you to share your meditations with us as well. We truly believe that in God’s economy of abundance, when we share our blessings, our thoughts, our feelings, we are all made richer.
Today’s meditation comes from Joyce Rupp's Fragments of Your Ancient Name It is a prayer from Karl Rahner that we used to close our Wednesday Coffee Hour Gathering and people asked us to send it out as one of these daily meditations. We hope and pray that you and your loved ones experience genuine peace of mind and heart, and remain in good health during this challenging time.
May the Easter Season be a time of peace, of healing and hope, of the resurrection of joy in your life!
With our love and care,
Ron & Jean
Meditation Thirty-Two: Hallowing of My Acts (Karl Rahner as presented by Joyce Rupp)
You breathe on my attempts
to be a person of kindness.
You touch my soiled efforts
to reach out in forgiveness.
You hold carefully my desire
to offer comfort and care.
You receive my every prayer
No matter how crumpled it is.
You give all of this a sacred hue,
A liberal blessing of your love.Today: My actions are hallowed when done lovingly.
There is a longing for communion with others who have a large vision. The immense fulfillment of the friendship between those engaged in furthering the evolution of consciousness has a quality impossible to describe.”
