Dear Friends,
We pray you are safe and well. In the spirit of our philosophy of co-creating community and our awareness that the Spirit speaks through each of us, we invite you to share your meditations with us as well. We truly believe that in God’s economy of abundance, when we share our blessings, our thoughts, our feelings, we are all made richer. Today’s meditation comes from Fr. Austin Fleming's book "Good Morning, Good God!" forwarded to us by Jane Audrey-Neuhauser who finds it poignantly helpful in these troubling times. We anticipate it will speak to your heart as well.We hope and pray that you and your loved ones experience genuine peace of mind and heart, and remain in good health during this challenging time.
May the Easter Season be a time of peace, of healing and hope, of the resurrection of joy in your life!
With our love and care,
Ron & Jean
Meditation Thirty-One: Trusting In Your Plan (Rev. Austin Fleming)
You leave us hanging, God,
twixt tomorrow and today,
the known and all unknown,
our fears and all our dreams.
Between what's now and yet to be,
there lies a simple truth:
all is in Your hands, O God,
while ours fold and hold in prayer our hope.
And we trust you'll lead us from this time
beyond our tears and fears
to peace, O God, and trust in you
and in Your plan for us.
And if not peace, then faith
to fold our hands again in Yours
and hold Your strength as ours, O God,
and rest within your arms. Amen
