Today's Meditation features a reflection by Julie Peters on "The Spiritual Meaning of the January Full Moon."

We invite you to join us as we commit ourselves to working tirelessly to end systemic and structural racism in our society, in the church, in healthcare, in the workplace--wherever it shows up so that everyone may come to have more abundant life. May this meditation nourish our contemplative-active hearts and sustain all of us in action.

Dear Friends,

We pray for you a Happy and Blessed New Year!

On this day and weekend when the Church celebrates Wise Men coming from the East, we likewise celebrate the fact that Wise Courageous Women have also come forward and accepted God's call to serve the People of God in Priestly Ministry. Today the Roman Catholic Women Priest Community placed an ad in the New York Times challenging the Roman Catholic Church to acknowledge and celebrate the reality of God calling women to priestly ministry--what a gift to the People of God! This letter serves as today's Meditation.
